This beautiful Hand Crafted and Hand Painted birdhouse creation is proudly made in the good ole U.S. of A. and is inspired by the Tennessee Mountains. This is not an import! Here is your opportunity to bring a touch of the mountains of Tennessee to your home. We have a limited quantity of these ‘Mountain Grown’ hand created outdoor birdhouses available. Until now, small quantities were available only to local country folk.
You can enjoy your birdhouse indoors as well as in your garden. Each has a hanger loop ready for you to display on your porch or favorite tree.
First, you will discover your birdhouse is crafted out of fine pine wood and has a large genuine tin roof. No ‘press board’ or plastic is used here! If you choose to display your birdhouse outdoors you will be happy to know the bottom floor is attached by wood screws. This allows for easy end of season cleaning. Once built, your birdhouse with its uniquely designed tin roof takes on a whimsy look and feel.
Secondly, a coat of all weather primer is applied to the seasoned pine wood and roof and then left to dry.
Then the real magic begins! Each newly crafted birdhouse is artistically hand painted in brilliant and bright outdoor safe colors. Flowers and foliage are painted completely by free hand. The free hand design adorns all four sides and large roof of the birdhouse and is creatively painted with up to 3 layers of bright color. This creates a 3 dimensional look and feel to the flowers.
You will be delighted to see that your new individually created birdhouse has a unique whimsical design and is an outdoor ready work of art. Bluebirds and other similar size birds as well local Tennessee mountain folk have enjoyed these hand painted treasures for years as you will too.
Since each birdhouse is individually handmade by “Mountain Grown”, some slight design and color variations may occur. However, each birdhouse is a work of art in itself and will provide you with many years of enjoyment.
